Board Breaking Requirements

Remember we will be breaking on the 1st Monday of the Month

Board breaking is required starting for students that are testing for their black stripes on their Red Belt.  Adults are required to break 2 stations of 2 boards (one hand and one foot technique). Kids (under the age of 16) are required to break 2 stations of 1 board each (using the hand and foot). These requirements are for the red belt ranks only. See Black Belt Requirements for breaking requirements.  These rules are subjective to a student's age and size.

If you have any problems getting the boards you can talk to Master Wiley or Myself (Matt Willis). We will help you get the right type of boards. Most of the lumber stores know what you are talking about if you tell them you are going to use the boards for breaking.
