Grand Master Young Sun Kang 8th Dan
Born December 7, 1942, he is the second son to a family of one brother and three sisters. His introduction to the martial arts came through his father (a master of Judo) and his older brother’s involvement in Tae Kwon Do. Grand Master Kang was
known as “The Bull”, as he knew neither defeat nor retreat while competing.
His accuracy and speed gained him the nickname, “King of the Roundhouse
Kick”. One of his greatest victories came while in Japan for the “Asian
Games”. There he defeated
